‘Otili is named after the Tongan word for Audrey. A name tying history to the present, ancestral stories held close to the heart and a tribute to the mother tongue of her grandparents. A beautiful reminder of keeping our language alive, our roots and our feeling of home.
Created in a beautiful Pacific collaboration, this scrunchie was printed by Laumei Leka NZ and sewn by Dearyu Sows. It was made to celebrate pride in culture, Tongan Language Week, and to honor our heritage.
