The Sower

My name is Audrey and I am the creator and sower of Dearyu Sows. I’ve always wanted to keep my creative side alive in some shape or form, so here we are. 

A Decade ago on Christmas Day, I was gifted my very first sewing machine from my lovely mum, who has always supported my many passions! Thank you mum :) Since then I learnt how to sew Scrunchies and Hair Bowties during my Summer break through countless DIY tutorial videos. Fast forward time, I’ve since then mastered my own style and techniques, learnt plenty life lessons along the way and am proud to say I am finally here sharing my story through each Scrunchie.

My aim with Dearyu Sows is to keep the story going, each chapter will have twists and turns, adventure, love, surprises, spookiness and fearlessness.  Sewing stories with one thread at a time! With each thread sown, another season shall continue, capturing moments and experiences with fluttering feelings. Scrunchies empowering your very own story, proudly worn by you. 

All our fabrics are handpicked to ensure high quality texture and silky smooth complexion. Our scrunchies are also elasticised with either a thin or thick elastic, dependent on the fabric to ensure sufficient length while achieving the perfect scrunch and durability for any hairstyle. It is our aim at Dearyu Sows to craft high quality scrunchies and sewn creations.
